Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash

Every night in Indianapolis, 1,701 men, women, and children face the harsh reality of homelessness. On Thanksgiving morning, 15,000 runners and walkers come together at the Drumstick Dash to move their feet so that others can eat. Firefighters On A Mission exists to help these members of our community.

Our purpose is to raise money for Wheeler Mission by walking 2.6 miles in full gear at the Drumstick Dash through Broad Ripple on Thanksgiving morning. Every year, dozens of firefighters from departments across central Indiana join us in this cause, and over the past twelve years, your support has helped us raise more than $50,000 - creating a lasting impact on our city.

This year, we are hosting our inaugural Firefighters On A Mission Beer-Pairing Dinner fundraiser. This evening will include a four-course beer pairing with a carefully curated menu by Chefs Steven and Jenna Unrue of 4 Birds Bakery along with a silent auction at The Hangar downtown Indianapolis - a perfect date night for a great cause!

Please help us raise critical funds to provide meals, shelter, and care for the men, women, and children who come to Wheeler for help. 100% of proceeds goes directly to Wheeler Mission. 

We are also once again partnering with Fire Dawgs Junk Removal with "Curbsides For Charity". You can book a junk removal on Sunday, November 24th through Fire Dawgs Junk Removal by calling 317-291-3294. All proceeds will be donated to Firefighters On A Mission, benefiting Wheeler Mission.
