We are expecting a record crowd again this year and will need over 1,500 volunteers to help the Drumstick Dash run smoothly.
Volunteer registration for the 2015 Drumstick Dash will open in September.

Lil’ Gobbler’s Run
All kids ages 10 and under are invited to participate in the fun run chasing Gerry Gobbler (the six-foot-tall turkey) around the parking lot of Broad Ripple Station. Sponsored by MHS.
The event starts at 10:15 a.m. and all finishers will receive a cool medal.
There is no registration required.
An announcement will be made and those wishing to participate will report to the designated place inside the parking lot of Broad Ripple Station.
There will be one water station located between the 2 and 3 mile points on the 4.5 mile course. Sponsored by Summers Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling.
Many other food items and refreshments will be available just past the finish line.

Free – Lil’ Gobbler’s Run (no registration required) – post-race 50 yard dash for kids 10 and under with our turkey mascot!
A Brooks long-sleeve Podium Mesh shirt is included with the first 16,500 registrations (size not guaranteed, but we will do our best). Shirts are not guaranteed to those signing up at Packet Pick-up or on race day.
Gear check will be available on race day in the main tent in the parking lot of Broad Ripple Station.
Please no pets or skates. Please be courteous to the Broad Ripple neighborhoods and residents.
Please seed yourself based on your actual run/walk pace. If you are pushing a stroller, we ask that you begin toward the back. Only the 4.5 mile event has the option of being timed.
Keep an eye out for special turkey hats along the course! Find one and keep it as your prize!
Gerry Gobbler (the six-foot-tall turkey) will get a short head start. You’ll win a prize if you are the first male or female to catch him! He is one fast turkey!
The top ten male and top ten female finishers in the 4.5 mile event will win a prize. There are no age group awards.
